Yemen missile hits Tel Aviv, injuring 14 new people

Israelis were injured after a missile fired from Yemen fell on Tel Aviv at dawn on Saturday, as sirens sounded in several areas of Israel.

The Israeli ambulance announced that “14 people were slightly injured” following the fall of a missile launched from Yemen on Tel Aviv.

The Israeli Home Front announced the activation of sirens in Tel Aviv, in central Israel.

Israeli media broadcast scenes they said showed the moment the missile fell without being intercepted by Israeli air defense systems.

Meanwhile, Israeli police said they had received reports of damage in Tel Aviv caused by the Yemeni missile.

The new Yemeni missile bombardment comes despite Israeli threats to launch a violent attack on Yemen.

At dawn last Thursday, Israel launched airstrikes against facilities in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, and Hodeidah governorate.

The Israeli military announced that its air forces attacked what it called Houthi military targets in Yemen, including ports and energy infrastructure in Sanaa.

For its part, the Yemeni group Ansar Allah Houthi announced yesterday Friday that it had carried out two military operations using several drones against “vital targets” in the south and center of Israel, one of them in cooperation with an Iraqi armed group.

On Thursday, the Yemeni group announced the implementation of 3 military operations on Israeli sites in connection with Israeli raids on Sanaa and Hodeidah.

And “in solidarity with Gaza” in the face of the Israeli genocidal war underway in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, which has left more than 152,000 Palestinians dead and injured, launched “Ansar Allah”, since November of the same year. , targeting Israel-linked cargo ships in the Red Sea with missiles and drones.

From time to time, Ansar Allah also launches missile and drone attacks on Israel, some of which have targeted Tel Aviv, and stipulates that stopping its attacks constitutes the end of Israel’s war of annihilation in Gaza.
