YEDIOT AHARONOT: The Washington Post Report on the Coordination of Netanyahu with Waltz Sahih News

The Israeli newspaper “Yediot Aharonot”, citing informed sources, confirmed the validity of what was reported in the report of the newspaper “Washington Post” concerning the existence of the coordination between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the adviser of the American President of National Security, the article Michael Waltz concerning the Iranian file.

The Washington Post cited two sources that Waltz made President Donald Trump, where the American national security councilor seemed to be convinced of Netanyahu’s conviction, that the moment had come from the military strike against Iran, which – according to the newspaper – was one of the reasons for Walt’s rejection.

Last Thursday, Trump announced the dismissal of Waltz, less than 4 months after taking over this position, and directly appointed a Washington representative at the United Nations in a move while waiting for the Senate ratification.

Trump did not reveal the reason for the dismissal, but American press reports linked this to a scandal in which Waltz involved last March, when he accidentally added a conversation via separate demand with Trump’s first national security assistant, concerning the American bombing campaign against the Houthi group in Yemen.

While the Washington Post, citing two informed sources, said that one of the reasons for the dismissal caused the dissatisfied Waltz after Netanyahu’s visit to the Oval Office in early February, when the national security advisor seemed to share his conviction that the time came from Iran’s strike.

The American newspaper said that Trump administration officials considered Waltz to have tried to weight military action and that he was working in close coordination with the Israelis.

The Israeli Prime Minister denied yesterday, Saturday, Saturday, all coordination between him and Waltz concerning a military strike against Iran, but the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper said that despite the denial of Netanyahu, his office did not denote that a person on his behalf had had conversations with Waltz.

She said that in addition to the Israeli Prime Minister’s visit to Washington in February and April, Ron Dermer, Minister of Strategic Affairs near Netanyahu, also went to the United States and met senior officials.

According to the Israeli newspaper, familiar sources with American-Israeli relations are very concerned about the damage that will be caused by Israel following his name in this debate, and that Israel is as if he manipulated Trump to push him to war with Iran.

The newspaper stressed that despite the close coordination between Israel and the United States, tensions still exist between the two partners, considering that talks with Iran on the new nuclear agreement, the decision to withdraw American forces from Syria and the American rapprochement with Turkey are proof of these tensions.

Consequently, the newspaper believes that the dismissal of Waltz and its refused position is not good news for Israel, since it was fully favorable to Israel in its position.
