The Pentagon (the Pentagon) announced the sending of an aircraft carrier and the deployment of additional war aircraft to strengthen American maritime assets in the Middle East, in the middle of a bombing campaign in Yemen and the climbing of tension with Iran.
Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell said in a statement that the “Karl Vinson” aircraft carrier would join the Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier to “continue to improve regional stability, dissuade any aggression and protect the free movement of the region”.
The Pentagon did not specify exactly the place where these two pregnant women will sail when they are together in the Middle East. The American navy has around 10 aircraft carriers.
This decision comes after the Houthis have affirmed in recent weeks of their responsibility for the attacks they have targeted the aircraft carrier Harry S Truman in the Red Sea. However, Washington, who has launched raids against the Houthis in Yemen for weeks, has not confirmed the attacks on its holder.
On the other hand, a spokesperson for the Pentagon explained that the Minister of Defense, Beit Higseth, had ordered the deployment of “additional swarms and other air assets in the region that would improve our defense air support capacities”.

Parnell did not refer to specific planes. However, US officials who asked not to be disclosed were not revealed that at least 4 B2 bombers were transferred to an American-British military base on the island of Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean.
Experts say that this distance is close enough to reach Yemen or Iran.
The “B2” bombers are able to transport nuclear weapons and only 20 type aircraft in the American Arsenal of the Air Force. Last October, the administration of former president Joe Biden used these bombers in his campaign against the Houthi group in Yemen.
“The United States and its partners remain attached to regional security in the US central command area and are ready to respond to any active party … He seeks to expand the conflict or to ESSERVER in the region,” said Sean Barnell.
The American central command includes a region that extends through North East Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia and its South.
