Two deaths in the new Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon Nouvelles

Two people were killed on Sunday evening during an Israeli air raid in southern Lebanon, which increases the result to 5 in the last 24 hours, in new violations of the cease-fire agreement which has been in force since November 27, 2024.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health said, in a statement, that “the Israeli enemy raid this evening in the city of Ainata led to the fall of two martyrs” in the district of Bint Jbeil in the governorate of Nabatieh, according to the Ancatolia Agency.

Earlier Sunday, the official Lebanese news agency reported that 3 people had been killed and that others had been injured in a series of Israeli air strikes in southern cities in the past 24 hours.

For its part, the Israeli army said, in a statement today, on Sunday, that it had launched an attack which had led to “liquidating two members of Hezbollah”, saying that they were working to “direct terrorist operations” in Yetr and Mays Al -jabal.

On October 8, 2023, Israel began an assault against Lebanon which turned into a general war on September 23, 2024, left 4 thousand and 115 dead and 16 thousand and 909 injured, including a large number of children and women, in addition to the displacement of approximately one million and 400,000 people.

Since the cease-fire agreement was valid, Israel has committed more than a thousand violations, which made 87 people and at least 285 injured, according to Anatolia statistics based on official Lebanese statements.

Israel rejected the completion of its withdrawal from southern Lebanon by February 18, unlike the agreement, because it implemented a partial withdrawal and continues to occupy 5 major Lebanese points, within the framework of the areas it occupied during the recent war.

Israel claims that the reason to stay in 5 hills is that the Lebanese army does not do its full office in the ceasefire agreement and its inability to control security along the blue line.
