Trump talks about “serious consultations” to end the war in Ukraine Nouvelles

US President Donald Trump said Washington has very serious interviews with Moscow to end the war in Ukraine, announcing that he will speak with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin.

In the comments he made to the White House journalists, Trump had no other details, but he hinted that he could do with Putin something he described as important.

In his remarks last week, Trump threatened to impose “high levels” of sanctions on Russia and customs duties on imports from there if Moscow has not reached a regulation.

During the period preceding his victory in the presidential elections, Trump has repeatedly announced that he would be able to agree between Ukraine and Russia on the first day of his post, if not before, but his advisers recently admit that war will resolve for months.

On the other hand, Russia called on President Trump’s administration to correct the errors made by former President Joe Biden concerning Ukraine, and he also confirmed more than once he was ready for the Dialogue with the United States on the basis of mutual respect.
