The wave of internal opposition in Israel has intensified against the continuation of the war on the Gaza Strip, and the number of signatories on petitions asked to stop the war and restore prisoners.
The Israeli media revealed the signing of around 120,000 Israelis from various spectra and community segments on petitions calling for the cessation of war and the return of prisoners.
Among the sites are 37 Israeli prisoners in Gaza, 10,000 reserve soldiers and former army and police officers, including a thousand soldiers from the parachute and pastress brigade and 1,700 former reserve soldiers of the armored brigade, in a strong indication of the growing internal rejection of the continuation of military operations in the sector.
