The director of internal security forces of the Gaza Strip, the general of division Mahmoud Abu Wabfa, inspected the security forces and the police in the strip today, on Sunday, confirming their deployment in various regions, and the elimination of “all escapes”.
Abu Waff said in an interview with Al -jazeera as he inspected the security forces near the crossing of Rafah at the borders of the Gaza Strip with Egypt that the security situation in the crossing area is under control .
He explained that the security forces are currently stationed in the street Salah Al -Din in exchange for the crossing to play their role in the control of public security and the protection of the internal front.
He added: “According to enemy withdrawals, we will have the capacity, control and propagation that is suitable for reality.”

During his tour in the Gaza Strip, Abu Waff confirmed that the police and internal security forces had completed their deployment in various regions to extend security, secure the convoys of aid and continue those who described them as an escape.
He pointed out that all escapes were “neutralized” and those who participated in the looting of convoys of aid to the instigation of the Israeli occupation forces, he said.
The police forces returned to the deployment throughout the Gaza Strip with the cease-fire agreement between the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and Israel in force on January 19, after a 15-month extermination war , during which the Israeli army targeted the police chiefs and its elements.
