The Ministry of Finance of the Democratic Republic of Congo announced on Friday that the salaries of soldiers and police, in a decision aimed at increasing the morale of security workers and the armed forces, which fight against a war against the rebels supported by the government of Rwanda.
The Ministry of Finance said that the increase in wages will be a turning point to improve the conditions of people working in the national army.

Government documents established in the 2025 budget show that the average official monthly salary of the armed forces varies between 100 and 200 USD.
This increase should affect negatively if it takes place outside the general expenses programmed in the state budget.
The draft public budget was to be sent to Parliament for approval earlier this month, but that did not happen.
President Felix Chiksdi faces many economic pressures, which have increased due to the small local currency and the significant drop in the export of minerals in minerals in the eastern regions where the battles between the rebels and the regular army forces turn.
