Messi is sentenced to a fine after assaulting the New York Sports coach

The American Football League imposed a fine on Inter Miami Lionel Messi after assaulting the New York coach at the end of the match on Saturday.

The video sequences of the Argentine legend of the New York coach, City Mahdi Balushi, showed before going to the locker room after equality (2-2) in Miami.

Messi put his hands twice on the neck of Balushi during the fight, and the American Football League said in a statement that his disciplinary committee had ruled that the Argentinian had violated the policy of “putting his hands on a face, a head or a neck of the opponent” in the league.

Before fighting with Balushi, Messi appeared angry with referee Alexis Da Silva, and he protested after the final whistle and received a yellow card because of the objection on his way to the locker room.

The association also inflicted a fine of its Messi teammate, Luis Suarez, due to the same violent behavior towards the Norwegian defender of New York Berk Reesa.

Messi made the equalizer of his team, marked by the Venezuelan Tilasco Sigovia in time, ending the match with a 2-2 draw at the Cis stadium in Miami, as part of the opening of the season.
