Martyrs of Israeli raids on Gaza and new incursion in Rafah news

Seventeen Palestinians were killed and others wounded on Sunday in separate Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip, as Israeli vehicles again entered the center of the southern city of Rafah.

A medical source reported that 4 martyrs and 15 wounded arrived at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital following an Israeli shelling that targeted a house in Al-Hakar neighborhood in the city of Deir Al-Balah (center).

The source said a number of other Palestinians were injured following an Israeli raid near Al-Baraka Street in the same city.

In Khan Yunis, in the south of the Gaza Strip, a medical source from the European Hospital in Gaza reported the arrival of 4 martyrs following an Israeli bombardment that targeted a house north of the city of Rafah.

Two Palestinians were also martyred in an Israeli artillery shelling on the town of Khuza’a, east of Khan Yunis. A Palestinian was also martyred and another was injured by the firing of an Israeli quadcopter on citizens near Tabet al-. Nuwairi, west of Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Al Jazeera correspondent reported that 7 Palestinians were killed and others were injured in an Israeli shelling that targeted the Kafr Qasim school, which is home to displaced people, in the beach camp, west of Gaza City.

Bombings and explosions

Israeli artillery stationed in the Netzarim axis, south of Gaza City, shelled the neighborhoods of Sheikh Ajlin and Tal al-Hawa, southwest of the city, in conjunction with helicopter fire south of Tal al-Hawa.

The Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, witnessed heavy explosions, artillery fire and Israeli vehicle fire in the areas of incursion into the neighborhood, while Israeli helicopters opened fire in areas in the southeast.

Similarly, Israeli artillery shelling resumed near the Islamic compound and Abu Sharia Square in the Al-Sabra neighborhood south of Gaza City, without any casualties being reported.

The Israeli army carried out bombing operations against citizens’ homes near the university college, in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, south of the city.

He entered Rafah

In the southern Gaza Strip, Israeli vehicles again entered near Arab schools, north of the city of Rafah, amid intense gunfire and artillery shelling against the Al-Shaboura camp and the Al-Geneina neighborhood, in the center and east of the city, according to local sources.

The same sources added that the Israeli army continued its operations aimed at blowing up and destroying residential buildings east and west of the city of Rafah, where sounds of violent explosions were heard in the southern governorate of Khan Yunis.

Last May, the Israeli army announced the start of a large-scale military operation in Rafah, which was teeming with displaced people, despite international warnings about the repercussions of the operation. It took control of the city’s border crossing with Egypt and blocked the entry of humanitarian aid and the movement of the sick and wounded abroad for treatment, exacerbating the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, which has been under siege for 18 years.

With US support, Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7, leaving more than 137,000 Palestinians dead and wounded – mostly children and women – and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and deadly famine.
