The Italian national football star Yangard denied allegations that he was exposed to a bite after photos of his large -scale exotic injury.
The Danish striker was watched with a huge red brand at the back of his neck during his team’s match against Venice in the 30th round of the Italian League.
Odgard, 25, gave an impressive performance to help his team win 1-0, which kept them in Juventus to try to obtain one of the first four places in the Champions League next season.
Despite the victory, the fans were occupied with the Red brand on the Danish player’s neck, as well as many questions on social networks on the reason of this brand and one of the subscribers wrote on the X platform: “What is this thing?”
A third added: “Is it a tattoo or a shark bite at the back of the neck of the Yancard Odgard?”
After the match, Odgard explained the brand’s source on Instagram: “It’s just a medicine that I use to treat a skin problem in my neck, and not a serious thing.” One of his disciples replied: “It is good to know. We caused our concern for a while. There were strange theories that circulated.”
The Danish joined Bologna in the summer of 2023 of the Dutch Alknar Club for 4.28 million euros, according to the transfer market website.
Odgard scored 6 goals in 25 games in the Italian League, including two goals in the last 3 games.
Bologna has now won 5 consecutive games to return to qualified posts in the Champions League.
