“Important” .. the story of a Syrian city which is told by the tears of a woman who has lost her four political brothers

On the banks of the Barada river, the important city of Damascus is held to a deep human tragedy.

At the heart of this tragedy, Umm Muhammad Zaytoun tells the story of the loss of his four brothers and sisters – Muhammad, Mahmoud, Ahmed and Mustafa – who were arrested and tortured to death, then burned their bodies.

Umm Muhammad remembers a suffocating voice of tears, the scene of his father, who has been putting his chair in front of the house for a year and a half, waiting for his children to come back.

And when the main cemetery has become dangerous, the banks of the Barada river went from an outlet to life in a last place of rest for the victims.
