The American billionaire Illon Musk expressed his hope of achieving an agreement which guarantees no customs right between the United States and Europe, paving the way for a free trade area between the two parties, in statements which occurred a few days after the President Donald Trump imposed new customs duties on the imports of the European Union of 20%.
“In the end, I hope it is agreed that Europe and America should perfectly go to zero customs tasks, which actually leads to the creation of a free trade area between Europe and North America,” said Mask during an intervention via a video link at a Bond Right-Wing Party Conference in Italy.
During the conference session at the conference, which was moderated by the head of the Matteo Salvini League, Musk expressed his desire to accompany the free trade agreement to extend freedom of movement between Europe and North America, and said: “If people want to work in Europe or North America, they must be authorized to do so … tendency.”

In his statements, Musk also confirmed his support for the association of Salvini and the right of the Italian Prime Minister Georgeta Meloni and his party (brothers of Italy), praising their economic and social orientations.
On Wednesday, April 2, Trump announced a new package of customs tasks that includes Italy and a number of European Union countries by 20%, as part of a policy aimed at reducing European trade surpluses with the United States, according to Bloomberg.
Italy has, according to US official reports, a large trade surplus with the United States, which has made on the list of targeted countries with costs, as well as Germany, France and the Netherlands.
