The American authorities arrested a Palestinian student and canceled the visa of an Indian student as part of a campaign launched by the administration of President Donald Trump on those who describe them as “terrorist supporters” in the universities of the United States.

On Friday, the American Department of Internal Security – announced that a Kurdish meeting, a Palestinian student from the West Bank, had been arrested, who participated in the demonstrations condemning the war against Gaza at the University of Colombia, for having violated the conditions of its academic visa.

The ministry said – in a statement – that its visa has been expired since January 26, 2022 after its interruption.

The arrest of a Kurdish meeting comes from federal agents a few days after the student’s arrest and Palestinian activist Mahmoud Khalil, for his participation in the demonstrations observed by the University of Colombia last year for rejection of the war against Gaza.

The American Department of Internal Security also announced the cancellation of the Ranjani Serenivasan visa, an Indian student who studies a doctorate in town planning at the University of Columbia, under the pretext of “supporting violence and terrorism”.

The ministry said that Rangani was involved in activities that support Hamas and, therefore, his visa was canceled on March 5.

According to the press release, the Indian student “self-representation” on March 11.

Once upon a time there was a privilege and not a acquired right, stressing that there is no room for those who support terrorism in the United States, as she said.

These developments arise as the campaign launched by the American authorities degenerates universities that have experienced demonstrations to support the Palestinians, and the authorities justified the campaign against universities and students with what they called “support for terrorism and anti-semitism”.

A message at the University of Colombia

Meanwhile, the Freedom Press, The Press Mark, revealed a message sent by the administration of President Donald Trump to the president of Columbia University on punitive measures in the context of the demonstrations condemning the Israeli war in Gaza.

The organization said that the message accuses the University of catastrophic failure of protecting US students and teachers from anti -mitic violence and harassment.

The Trump administration called the Columbia University of Disciplinary measures if it wanted to restore its federal funding, and these measures include the expulsion of students or the stop to study for several years.

The US administration has also requested the status of the Middle East Studies Department, South Asia and Africa at university under academic supervision for at least 5 years.

Democrats and American organizations have denounced the arrest of students and the threat of their expulsion, noting that it is a violation of the freedom of expression guaranteed by the American Constitution.
