The Syrian Ministry of Defense announced the start of the implementation of the second phase of the continuation of the regime ousted in the countryside and the Syrian coast, in a movement aimed at shrinking the screws.
Since last Thursday, Lattakia and Tartous have attended security tension on the occurrence of coordinated attacks on the remains of the Bashar Al -Assad regime against patrols, security barriers and hospitals, murder and injury, and the Ministry of Defense announced on Saturday – that the conditions of Lattakia and Tartous are under control.
Commenting on the situation in Syria, the military and strategic expert, Colonel Hatem Karim Al -falahi, explained that the first step concerned controlled cities and inhabited areas, then the security forces are starting to deploy in the areas located in the accident mountain ranges.
He considered that “what happened in Lattakia and Ivière and that the areas surrounding them is a process of exit on the State using armed force”, noting that this process needs money, weapons and a refuge, in addition to external support and media forces for promotion purposes.
He defined rebellion as “the regulatory use of sabotage and violence to impose a new political situation in a region, using strength and controlling it, in whole or in part”.
With regard to the weapon belonging to these groups, Colonel Al -falahi has spoken of 3 main elements, which is the nature of the rebellious environment in a political, social and economic point of view, and its connections, capacities, capacities and external intentions.
In his analysis, Colonel Al -falahi did not exclude the existence of external links with these rebel groups, and “may be with parts in other countries, which means that they are subject to external support”.
And on the Syrian management dealing with the current security situation, the military and strategic expert indicated that it depended on the political solution, by its request to put the weapon to the state, because it contacted many notables to organize the internal conditions in the areas which attend the security tension, in addition to its effort to separate the rebels from the environment in which they are.
He stressed that the political measures carried out by the Syrian management are accompanied by military measures.
Syrian President Ahmed Al -Sharaa called – in his speech after the prayer of dawn today in one of the mosques in the Al -Mazzeh district of Damascus – to preserve national unity and civil peace in the country, and said that what is happening in Syria is currently among the expected challenges.
It is reported that after the reversal of the Assad regime on December 8, 2024, the new Syrian authorities launched an initiative aimed at resolving the conditions of the former members of the regime, the army and the security services, “provided that their weapons are delivered and that their hands are not stained with blood.”
Thousands of people responded to this initiative, while certain armed groups of the regime’s remains rejected it, in particular on the Syrian coast, where the superior officers of the ousted president regime were stationed.
