A person was killed following a raid by an Israeli plane targeting a car in the city of Qaqa’a Al -jisr in the Nabatiyeh district, in southern Lebanon, in a new break in the cease-fire agreement last night, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
A Lebanese source of security told Al-Jazeera correspondent that the Israeli path had targeted the car with two missiles, which led to its destruction and the epidemic of fire.
And last Saturday, Israel intensified its attacks on Lebanon after an assertion that one of its colonies was subjected to a missile attack on the Lebanese side, and for its part, Hezbollah denied any relationship with this.
The Israeli raids in Lebanon – last Saturday – killed 8 people and struck 31 others, according to official Lebanese sources. This has been in the fiercest escalation since the cease-fire entered the implementation on November 27.
On October 8, 2023, Israel began an assault against Lebanon, a transition to a widespread war on September 23, 2024, leaving more than 4,000 dead and around 17,000 injured, including a large number of children and women, in addition to the trip of around one million and 400,000 people.
Despite the validity of a cease-fire agreement on November 27, 2024, Israel committed 1263 violations, which left at least 100 dead and 331 injured, according to Lebanese official statements.
Israel rejected the completion of its withdrawal from southern Lebanon by February 18, unlike the agreement. He made a partial withdrawal and continued to occupy 5 large Lebanese hills, as part of the areas it occupied during the recent war.
I also recently started to establish a border strip which extends over a kilometer or two inside the territory of Lebanon.
For decades, Israel has occupied land in Lebanon and Syria and refuses to withdraw.
