The Al-Qassam Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) – said on Monday that their fighters targeted Israeli occupation vehicles and soldiers in operations and an ambush in Khan Yunis and Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.
The brigades said – in a statement – that they destroyed two troop transports and targeted a Merkava tank and two military bulldozers with explosive devices and shells, Al-Yassin 105, east of Khan Yunis.
He added that he killed and injured Israeli vehicle crews during the ambush in the Al-Fokhari neighborhood east of the city, and that his fighters were monitoring the helicopter landing. to evacuate the dead and injured.
In Rafah, Al-Qassam said it targeted a Merkava tank equipped with a strobe device and a D9 military bulldozer equipped with a Tandom shell in the Al-Shoka area, east of the city.
The Brigades also targeted an Israeli foot force with an explosive device, also killing and injuring them east of the city.
It should be noted that for almost a year, Israel has continued a devastating war in the besieged Gaza Strip, which has left more than 137,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, mostly children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, in the midst of massive destruction and an unprecedented humanitarian and health crisis.
Palestinian resistance factions, led by the Al-Qassam Brigades, have been confronting Israeli forces stationed and entering the Gaza Strip since the start of ground operations, which left dozens of Israeli soldiers dead and wounded, according to official estimates.
