The repercussions of the argument. Meloni calls for an American European summit and Callas demands a new new world leader

After the verbal dispute at the White House between American President Donald Trump and his guest, Ukrainian President Folodimir Zellinski, Italian Prime Minister Georgeta Meloni called for an urgent summit between the United States and Europe, while the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the European Union, Kaya Calas, said that the free world needed a new chief.

Meloni called on Friday evening to organize a summit “without delay” between the United States and Europe and their allies on Ukraine, shortly after the lively verbal argument between Trump and Zellinski.

Meloni declared in a press release that the contract “without delay is necessary between the United States and Europe and their allies in order to explicitly seek as we intend to face the current major challenges starting with Ukraine that we have defended in recent years.”

“This is the proposal that Italy intends to present to its partners in the coming hours,” she added.

“Any division in the West makes us lower and in the interest of those who want to see the decline of our civilization,” said Meloni, one of the few European leaders to have attended the Trump inauguration ceremony and support kyiv.

For his part, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the European Union, Kaya Callas, undertook on Friday to stand in kyiv, skeptical towards the United States in the Western world after the verbal argument outside the ordinary between the American president Donald Trump and the folodimir Zellinski Ukrainian.

“Today, it has become clear that the free world needs a new leader. It is up to us as a European to accept this challenge,” wrote Callas on social networks, adding: “Ukraine is Europe! We stick to Ukraine.”

“We will intensify our support for Ukraine so that you can continue to fight the attacker.”
