The regional government of Kurdistan, Iraq, said that a gas field in the region had been submitted to an attack in Mesra on Sunday – which did not cause damage and held the responsibility of those who called it “militias”.
The Kurdistan Regional Government Ministry of Natural Resources said – in a statement – “A drone attack was carried out on the Khor Moore gas field at 7:05 pm today (Sunday, 4:05 pm GMT) without recording any damage to the field or Dana Gas Company “Emirati leading the field.
The ministry has confirmed that “gas production on the ground takes place naturally and that gas pressure in the stations is still normal”, while Ramadan Ramk, the Qawam Al -Jammal district, explained – where the attack took place – that the race has fallen into an area where oil materials are stored.
The gas field of Khor Moore is located between the cities of Kirkuk and Sulaymaniyah, in an area led by the authorities of the Kurdistan region in Iraq, which has self-election. This site has been planned with several attacks in recent years, no part of which has claimed responsibility.
For its part, the regional anti-terrorist agency said that “the source of the hostile director is the village of Bashir” in the south of the governorate of Kirkuk, adding that “prohibited militias have led the attack”.
